2027 Secondary Schools Workshop
Description:
The annual South Carolina Athletic Trainers' Association Secondary School Student Workshop for secondary school student aides will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2027 at River Bluff High School.
There will be a variety of hands-on sessions with a focus on exploring some of the skills & knowledge needed for a career in athletic training. We encourage all secondary school athletic trainer student aides (Sports Medicine Work-Based Learning) to attend, as well as any students in the CTE Sports Medicine Pathway interested in becoming a Certified Athletic Trainer.
2026 Workshop Recap
On Saturday, February 21st, we hosted high school students from all across the state for our Annual SCATA Secondary Schools Workshop at River Bluff High School. We had 135 students and 25 ATCs registered for the workshop – our largest registration ever! Unfortunately, for the second year in a row, due to the snow in the Lowcountry many registrants were unable to attend. We were able to still have over 20 different high schools represented with 90 student attendees.
